I used to do a lot of wood working in my shop too. Built a lot of tables and chests and did some wood carving. I never tried to refinish things like you did. I do or did like to make things without using any rulers or tape measures. I cut the first stick and use it as the perfect measure tool for everything else.
I just revisited this page and you've inspired me! I have a drop leaf table that sure would look good if I got busy and refinished it! Your work here is beautiful!
